Inspired by travel, beach days, concerts, and festivals, she developed a passion for helping people feel confident in their smiles whether they are on vacation, meeting new people, or enjoying everyday moments. That passion led her to dentistry, where she focuses on gentle, preventive, and restorative care that helps patients feel comfortable and confident.

Dr. Lewen Ma has always been passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles and comfortable in the dental chair. She brings that passion into her work every day through gentle, preventive, and restorative dentistry focused on long-term oral health.
She earned her DDS from USC School of Dentistry, where she built a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care and developed a deep commitment to patient education and prevention.
Following her training, Dr. Ma gained valuable clinical experience practicing at Downey Modern Dentistry, where she refined her skills in delivering efficient, high-quality care in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a strong focus on patient comfort and trust. She also contributed to clinical research, with a publication in the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry titled “Treatment of 27 Class III Gingival Recession Sites.”

Dr. Lewen Ma lives in sunny Los Angeles, where she developed a deep appreciation for the city’s diverse culture, beach lifestyle, and vibrant community. She knows how important it is to feel confident in your smile, especially in a city full of connection, creativity, and opportunity.
She is passionate about giving back to her community and has been involved in volunteer dental outreach efforts, helping provide care and education to underserved populations. These experiences strengthened her commitment to making dentistry accessible, compassionate, and focused on long-term health for every patient.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ma loves exploring LA and Southern California’s food scene, spending time at the beach, traveling, attending concerts and festivals, and enjoying sunny days outdoors whenever she can.
