Hello, I’m Dr. Eric To, founder of Parklane Dental. For me, dentistry has always been about more than just teeth… it’s about restoring confidence, joy, and health through every smile!
For over 20 years, I’ve been honored to serve patients for smile makeover as your cosmetic dentist. Now across Arcadia, Temple City, and the San Gabriel Valley, nothing is more rewarding for me than seeing the moment a patient looks in the mirror and smiles freely again!
My Approach to Smile Design
Every patient comes with their own story. And sometimes it’s teeth that never aligned properly, sometimes it’s years of hiding a smile because of discoloration, or sometimes it’s fixing work that never felt right. My philosophy is simple:
“I don’t just create smiles — I help people feel like themselves again.”

A Personal Note to My Patients
Growing up, I saw how much a smile can affect how people interact with the world! I saw firsthand how poor hygiene affected the confidence in my family member: whether it’s the confidence to laugh, to speak up, or to take a photo without hesitation.
That’s why I built Parklane Dental: a place where every patient, from children to grandparents, feels safe, cared for, and truly listened to.
I know that going to the dentist isn’t always easy. My promise is to make every visit comfortable and to give you clear options, whether you’re here for a simple check-up or a life-changing smile makeover.

After graduating the top of my class from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery and completing my residency at USC School of Dentistry, I soon found my curiosity for redesigning smiles with cosmetic dentistry. As part of my commitment to making dental care accessible, I served as a preclinical instructor at USC where I taught dental students proper hygiene techniques.

Beyond Dentistry
Outside the office, I enjoy music, exploring new foods, and spending time with family. During my spare time, you can find me relaxing in a musical session with my violin! This year, I’m challenging myself by learning how to conduct for an orchestra!
I believe that access to dental care should never be a privilege, but a right. This year, I dedicated time to community outreach, with our Give Kids A Smile program, where I visit thousands of kids to teach them oral health.
Taking my kids out for activities, I always look forward to playing soccer with my son and family. See if you can guess my favorite soccer team at your visit!
